To work through the emotions we were all experiencing during the thick of the pandemic, I thought of the word ‘kenopsia’.

I started to wonder ‘how can we still feel connected to our favorite experiences even though we can’t do them right now?’

I came up with the idea of candles that smell like our favorite experiences. The smell of movie theater popcorn, the smell of the beach, or even the smell of the sound of laugher (whatever that might be). That way, any time you started missing one of these experiences, you could just light a candle and be transported back to that moment.
